The Bellingen farmhouse is set among idyllic rolling countryside in rural NSW. The architecture is a contemporary interpretation of a french barn, and the sentiments are echoed inside. Using traditional materials like marble, timber and bagged rendered walls, the striking architecture is softened and humbled. Fittings and fixtures are reminiscent of a time when craft and elegance prevailed. To preserve the purity of the peaked ceilings, all lighting is concealed, or via custom pendant or wall sconce.
